Zespół badawczy projektu składa się z pięciu badaczy:

Cele projektu
Celem projektu jest przeprowadzenie kompleksowej i szczegółowej analizy obecnego stanu obszarów wiejskich na Ukrainie, identyfikacja zagrożeń dla ich rozwoju w okresie powojennym, określenie potrzeb w zakresie zasobów ziemi i zaopatrzenia w żywność w kontekście krytycznych trendów demograficznych, a także uzasadnienie opartego na prawach człowieka zintegrowanego podejścia do rozwoju obszarów wiejskich, bezpieczeństwa żywnościowego i polityki zarządzania gruntami w powojennej odbudowie Ukrainy wraz z określeniem środków ich realizacji.
Praktyczne wyniki badania będą oparte na scenariuszach rozwoju powojennego, uzasadnionych przy użyciu metod modelowania przestrzennego i prognozowania, systemu geoinformacyjnego do wspierania podejmowania decyzji opartych na dowodach. Opracowane zalecenia mające na celu poprawę systemu instytucjonalnego powojennego rozwoju obszarów wiejskich i agrarnych w oparciu o zintegrowane podejście oparte na prawach człowieka zapewnią decydentom narzędzia oparte na nauce do podejmowania decyzji w sprawie interwencji politycznych. Polityka powinna przyczyniać się do zapewnienia praw ludności ukraińskiej w zakresie dostępu do żywności, ziemi, zasobów finansowych, towarów i usług, czystego środowiska oraz prawa do decydowania o lokalnych opcjach rozwoju. Zasady te są zgodne z Celami Zrównoważonego Rozwoju ONZ, celami Europejskiego Zielonego Ładu i obecną transformacją Wspólnej Polityki Rolnej UE, a wszystkie mają na celu zapewnienie lepszej równowagi między naturą, systemami żywnościowymi i różnorodnością biologiczną, aby chronić zdrowie ludzi.

2024, June 6-7. International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Modern Challenges in Land Resources Management”, Kyiv (Ukraine), 6-7 June 2024 (hybrid) at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The conference was attended by 105 participants, including representatives of the organizing institutions, but also the Institute of Demography and Quality of Life Problems NAS of Ukraine, Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, Sumy National Agrarian University, state and local authorities, civil society and academia, and other stakeholders. The discussions focused on the impact of armed aggression on land management, soil quality in the context of European integration, harmonisation of Ukrainian land legislation with EU legislation, and the development of rural land use and rural areas. As part of the conference, the project team also carried out the workshop “Public interests in land management and land use: current European trends”.
