How to get to the city centre?

From Chopin Airport (the main airport)

By bus:
Bus 175 runs daily and frequently (e.g. every 10 minutes) from 05:00 until 22:57. Tickets (one-way, jednorazowy, valid for 75 minutes) cost PLN 4.40 (about 1 Euro) and can bought in the terminal (go right on exiting baggage claim), or in the ticket machine outside the building, or on the bus. The bus goes directly (about 30 minutes) to Staszic Palace (stop Uniwersytet) and nearby hotels, and then to its terminus at Place Pilsudskiego from where bus 116 (nearby stop, same ticket) goes to the Ibis hotel.

By train:
A fast rail link leads to the Central Station (around 25 minutes), with onward metro and bus connections.

By taxi:
This costs about Euro 15 (Euro 20 on Saturday night and Sunday), payable by cash or card. Use only official taxis.

By bus:
The Modlinbus is coordinated with flight schedules, and goes to Mlociny metro station and to the Palace of Culture (Marszalkowska street) – about 45 minutes. More information at www.modlinbus.pl.

By train:
A special airport bus coordinates with Koleje Mazowieckie trains at Modlin rail station. A special ticket (PLN 17) (for bus and train) can be bought in the airport hall. Estimated journey time 75 minutes (to Central station).
